The Parliamentary Internship Program is in its fifth year under the direction of the Center for
Democracy and Free Enterprise.
For the 2000-2001 program, CDFE has selected a group of 24 students from the social science and
law faculties of Charles Univerisity, The University of Economics in Prague, the Anglo-American
College, the Agricultural Univeristy in Prague and Masaryk University in Brno. A majority of the
selected interns will be working for the Committees on European Integration in the Lower Chamber
and the Senate of the Czech Republic. These students will serve as researchers and advisors to various
deputies and senators, and will be under the direct supervision of the Chairpersons for the Committee,
Olga Adamcova in the Lower Chamber and Lenka Steffkova in the Senate.
