Senator Václav Fisher "Miroslav Matej (PIP 1999-2000 intern) was a great
help in preparing laws for the meetings of the Committee on European Integration.
Mr. Matej's professional skills are very high, and he contributed to the discussion
with points that made sense."
Former Intern Michal Palata "I got to talk to a lot of people in very
high positions and could discuss with them. I could tell them my opinions and
ask them questions that interested me. I have to say that I often had to change
the views that I had on different things, and I also gained a lot of new experience.
Moreover, I could apply what I learned at school and compare it with lessons
in practice. That's why I think the project is unique, and why I would recommend
it to all students who are at least a bit interested in what happens in the
country in which they live."
Deputy Vilém Holár "This program brings not only very qualified help
to an MP, but also gives him/ her close contact with the latest academic options
on how to solve many political questions."
Senator Zuzana Roithová "I think that students of law need to be given
the chance to see how legislative institutions function, and that the students
must be allowed to take part in this process. Even though they are still in
their studies, their comments on laws under discussion have helped in the (European)
integration process."
Senator Michael Zantovský when speaking of intern Martin Jerábek said
the following, "Martin showed that he has a very qualified academic background
and is able to use a wide perspective for practical purposes. The intellectual
ability of the intern can help a committee very much in the execution of daily
work and in the solving of complex problems."
